Nice Pictures From The Web (Part 2)

Monster Turbine™ in-ear speakers

A collaboration between US-based audio innovator Monster Cable and Lady Gaga did just that.

Known as “Heartbeats by Lady Gaga”, the jewel-inspired earphones have a fashionable appeal with its multi-faceted design and glossy finish. It also comes with an assortment of ear tips to ensure maximum comfort and fit for every wearer. We especially love its flat, tangle resistant cable design, a Monster Cable exclusive feature.

Quality-wise, “Heartbeats by Lady Gaga” is designed to deliver music with sonic clarity and pounding bass.

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga come in red, silver and black and are available at Audio House Marketing, Best Denki, Gramophone, Harvey Norman and HMV at $240 each with a one-year warranty.

Samsung ST 550
What: After many tries, Samsung appears to have created a winner with this stylish and groundbreaking digital camera. Obviously, the thing that hits you first about the Samsung 2View (ST 550) is the dual LCD (front and back) feature. It also comes packing quite a wallop, boasting 12.2 megapixels, 4.6x optical zoom and a 3.5” inch LCD screen featuring the world’s highest resolution at 1,152k.

Why it’s hot: Aside from the red-hot specs above, the features within the camera are literally quite astonishing: Smart user interfaces that let you delete photos simply by making an “X” motion on the LCD screen with your finger, or touch the screen to photograph a desired area; intuitive face recognition; and a kickass folder management system. And it’s great for taking snaps of the young ones; if you want a crying baby to cheer up then turn on the “Children Mode”—where an animation will appear on the front LCD screen of the camera.

Great for: Taking it here, there and everywhere. Compact, lightweight and ergonomically sensible, this has got vacation “must-bring” written all over it.

Ideal for: Camera-whoring couples on their honeymoon Down Under (where else, right?) and teenie boppers who love hanging out at one of those coffee and cake places where post-meal group shots are obligatory.

Get it: $549 from Best Denki, Plaza Singapura

PSP Go

What: Sony PSP hits back with a bold new version.

Why it’s hot: A versatile entertainment kit that’s a perfect upgrade from its predecessor, this PSP does away with discs and cartridges and goes completely digital. It’s small enough to tuck away in your front jeans pocket, light enough to not be cumbersome and cool enough to compete with other casual handheld gaming devices like the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Great for: Catching a movie on a budget flight without an inflight entertainment system. Yup, we’ve all been there—and a PSP Go might make you not even notice the cramped seats. Almost.

Ideal for: Those idling thumbs on the MRT.

Get it: $412 from Sony Style, Orchard Central
