Kukup Trip (17th - 18th July 10') - Part 1

Kukup is a small fishing village located about 40km from Johore Bahru & is famous for the open-air seafood restaurants built on silts over the water. It's my 1st time at this place & my weekend was spent here =)

This trip was organised by Serene relatives & each person pays $60 (Accomodation & Food are all supplied) They drove in by car at 8am + & reach around 10-11am+ (17 Jul) Since early morning, it's been raining heavily & even when we reached, its like those small rain & drizzling =x

Took a simple lunch at one of the seafood restaurant. After that, we need to walk in a very very long path in order to find our house & it's situated almost at the end. Most of the houses on the outside look similiar but there's some which look quite posh.

The houses are not only open for tourists to rent, but there is people who are living there for life. I mean this are their real houses but not for vacation uses.

It has 2 big living rooms with sofas which 1 of it is for watching TV prog & DVDS, another one is for singing KTV. The songs are quite new + some oldies as well.

There's also a majhong table with majhongs & poker cards provided. There's one area for us to have our dine in breakfast/lunch/dinner. There's only 1 toilet & 1 bathroom. Not forgetting there are 5 rooms together & each room can packed at least 8 person as the beds are upper decked & queen size instead of single.

In order to stay in this houses, it need at least 20 persons. So you got to imagine everyone needs to take turn in everything. If there is not enough friends on your side, the owner of this house will combined with other people who staying over here to live under one roof.

Usually it's not a big problem, unless you face those kind of troublesome or bad attitude people, then I can only say "Suay" lo. Luckily our house didn't & its considered home sweet home hehe... =p

There's nothing much to roam outside the street. The distance resembles HV Crystal Jade Resturant to Foster Rose Cafe. It's the usual food, clothes, slippers, watches, tidbits. I patronise one of the 18 degreee celsius shop which sells bubble tea.
