New Moon Big Walk

"New Moon Big Walk" is a community project which involves 17 constituencies in the 'North East District' that benefits the needy seniors/families who are unable to cope with their healthcare needs. For every registrant, "New Moon" will donate 100 bowls of rice.

It's such a meaningful event which should not be missed out & I felt it's time for me to do something for the community =)

Each participant paid $25 & received a goodie bag (T-Shirt, Hand Held Fan, Milo Tin, Pain Relief Plaster, Sunscreen Satchet, Mouthwash, Hand Sansiter Satchet, Teh-Tarik Satchet, Mineral Water Bottle & Prawn Cracker).

This event was a 5km walk which is held at 'Pasir Ris' (8am) Due to a heavy rain, Serene & I dragged until 9am then reach haha... But it's ok, as a lot of people just start on their journey too.

Didn't expect it's such a crowd & everyone is walking in line. Even the primary school students & teachers also participate in. It has those 'Star Wars Movies Characters' patrolling the area & walking with us. Got to take some photos for sure!

Took 1 hour + to finish the walk & queuing up for free breakfast (Donut, Ice-Cream, Cold Milo) Hungry Hungry!!! Shoes become muddy as we need to walk on the grasses.

If it didn't rain, there were be no muds & pools of water everywhere. Played those simple games at the stall booths & I only managed to win one prize haha... It's those kid gifts & I just passed it to 1 of the kid.

Didn't manage to see Fann Wong & Jeanette Aw in the walk. Maybe they had start exactly at 8am with the Mayor "Mr Teo Ser Luck'. We are late mah, that's why =p

After the walk, met up with Mingli & Susan at the shopping centre, took lunch & roam around. Leave at 3pm + as I meet up with Dear.
