31st May 2010

Whoa... It's 31st May & tomorrow is 1st of June. 5 months has passed just like that...

20 more days to go & I will be in Taiwan/Hongkong. Can't wait for this day to arrive soon, Yippee!!! =)

I guess I deserve this overseas trip since I have been working hard in my work & behaving well in my single life hehe... I start to fall in love with 'Single' & don't wish to step into a relationship, at least for this year.

So all those '烂桃花' cannot get near me liao haha... But sometimes, it's difficult to say also. Anyway, I got no time for 'LOVE' now & rather put my concentration on other things instead.

Month end is always a busy busy busy one. Seems like competing in a race & must finish by hook or by crook today, sigh...

宽恕 - 神木与瞳 (MV)

I fell in love with this song when I heard it for the 1st time!

The lyrics are something like putting down & forgive everything from the past, only then you can start all over again =)

Unsure it's a new or old song, anyway just enjoy....

A Fresh Sunday

It's been 2 weeks that I didn't exercise & if I still don't exercise now, fats will increase more =x

Start my run/jog/walk at 'Ghim Moh' drain area around 8.05 or 8.10am like that. There is quite a lot of people there aldy, running or cycling ranging from all sorts of ages haha...

Before I start my run, there's a malay girl behind me with her malay friend. If I am not wrong, they should be in Sec 3 or 4. Obviously they came here for a run, since they are dressed in sport shirts & shorts.

One of the Malay girl start her run 1st & I follow next. Her another friend seems like not running, but waiting at one side. I press the stopwatch in my digitial watch & see how long can I run without a stop.

Oh Man! It's only 2 mins 30 secs & my leg has stop running liao. I told myself to run, run, run..... Don't ever stop until a 5 mins. But still cannot make it, sigh... =x

Though my legs has stopped, but I still continue jog/walk/run again. Carinn mentioned to me before, a person must not stop running even if you feel your legs are going jelly, but you can only jog next. If you stop, it's difficult to run again as your muscles are pulling you back. That's quite true.

The malay girl who start her run 1st, she didn't stop at all & continue to run run run. That time my digital stopwatch shows 10 mins + sia... Her ht & size resembles Elaine type. I was thinking to myself "Whoa Say... She can run so much more better & faster then me! Me leh? Lau Kui =x"

Around noon time, went to BTRT & Bugis Temple. Long time didn't went for praying. Met up with Serene & Mingli at Bugis since Serene bought her laptop for servicing.

BBQ

If I am not wrong, the last BBQ I attended is during Jessie's birthday last year.

Joanne (Louis Best Friend Wife "Grace" friend) invited me & other of her colleagues/ & friends to East Coast as she held a BBQ over there.

I took a train to Kallang & wait at one of the bus interchange for Grace & GM as they give me a ride in. It's always better to have car/bike transport, more easier to reach all places haha... =p

The weather was drizzling & sunny at times. Some of the food was bbq earlier on, so I ate a bit 1st. I am not into those helping to "Peng" the food, so my responsibilty was to watch & eat hehe...

Felt paisay, but I also don't know how to help out as there's one lady who is doing all the "Peng Kan" of the food, so I just stay one side lor.

Food was as usual, it's those marinated chicken wings, otah, satay, prawns, normal sausages, taiwan sausages, tapoica... Drinks were only Coke & Chrysanmethmum Tea. There is one mixed fruit jelly as well. I didn't ate too much bcuz I scare heaty, just eat a bit here & there. The children were all building sandcastles & I watched them for a while.

The scene & the waves sound makes a person calm down. I sat on top of 1 of the rock (See the right pic) & watch the ships in the sea & breathe in fresh air. I had a ciagarette in my hand as well. I had smoke 2 ciagarttes in a day, consider broke record haha...

I have the 'Alone' feeling & how I wish 'He' is beside me. Anyway it's just memories only & today is his birthday also. I did sent an sms as we are still friends =) I quickly divert the thoughts of 'Him' & went back to the pit there & chat with the other girls.

I am not someone who can socialise very well with strangers. I am more of a listener rather then someone who talks. Needless to say, I act as the fomer haha... Have normal conversations & slowly it become ghost stories.

They had a lot to share & the lady who helps to bbq the food earlier on, search for a ghostly music in her IPhone which makes the whole atmosphere even more scarier. It was like 6+ to 7pm liao. The 'hair' on my hands all stand up... =x

It was an enjoyable day after all. Next time I wanna come here & rent a bicycle to cycle or running. Anyone wanna join me hehe...

Find The Perfect Swimsuit For Your Body Type

This article was taken from http://www.shoppinglifestyle.com/ =)

Small Bust / Bottom Heavy
  • Bikini tops with prints or embellishments and darker bottoms downplay the hips and rear.
  • Padded halters or push-up underwire styles give a boost to your bust.
  • One-piece boatnecks and racerbacks create the illusion of broader shoulders.
  • A high-cut bottom lengthens legs and has a slimming effect.
  • Strapless styles create a horizontal line and balance the figure.
  • Avoid bottoms with prints or ruffles that draw unwanted attention to the hip area.
Large Bust / Broad Shoulders
  • Halter styles with underwire or midriff-band offer lift and support to the bust area.
  • A suit with wide straps provides more support and is more comfortable.
  • A dark, solid bikini top and a lighter or printed bottom draws attention away from the upper torso.
  • Embellishments below the chest (e.g. ruffles, shirring) help deemphasize the bust area.
  • Avoid strapless bandeaus and triangle bikini tops, which don't offer the support you need.
Boyish Figure
  • One-piece suits with cut-out designs add sexy curves.
  • Push-up bikini tops that come with pads or underwire make the most of a petite cleavage.
  • Tiny string bikinis look great on small-chested bodies, but make sure they're tied securely and don't gape.
  • Bikini tops with embellishments (smocking, ruffles) and horizontal stripes along the neckline visually add width on top.
  • A belted bottom produces curves and creates the look of a defined waist.
  • Avoid vertical stripes, which will only make your figure look straighter.
Chunky Waist
  • Tankinis and one-pieces with a high Lycra content offer more tummy control -- one with 10 to 15 percent Lycra is a good bet.
  • High-waist bottoms are more forgiving on a less-than-toned midsection.
  • One-piece suits with ruches or gathers along the waist work wonders at disguising tummy bulges.
  • Diagonal lines or designs and chevron patterns visually slim the waist.
  • Avoid horizontal stripes that add width to the waistline and too-tight bottoms, which produce the dreaded muffin top.
Short Torso
  • One-piece suits with a plunging neckline create a continual long silhouette and have a torso-lengthening effect.
  • Vertical stripes and patterns visually lengthen the body.
  • Bikinis with bottoms that sit low on the hips add length to a short torso.
  • Embellished or printed tops with solid bottoms draw the eye up and create a longer look.
  • Avoid suits with horizontal-stripe designs on the waist area and high-cut bikini bottoms.
Long Torso
  • Tankinis with high-cut bottoms create the illusion of a shorter torso and longer legs.
  • Suits with horizontal stripes and patterns across the waist makes a long torso looks more proportionate.
  • Cutout designs visually break up the torso area.
  • Avoid high-neckline one-pieces that make the torso look longer and styles with vertical stripes.

Rainy Days In The Morning

It's been raining in the morning for the past consecutive 3 days.

How I wish I dun need to report for work & stay in bed with my pillow, bolster & blanket hehe...=p

I like rainy days, especially when it can calm down a person's mind & reminisce the past with a smile or a tear. Of cuz I dun mean in the day, you can't smile or cry, but only when it's raining, it can slow down the fast pace of our thinking in the day.

Time travels too fast, that sometimes we didnt have time to think who are we grateful for or what we had learned in the past.

My life has took another turn, after I had become single again. "No Pain No Gain" heard of this quote? I don't know if its my real-self or the circumstances that force me to take a new path. Be it either 1 of them or both, I did "Gain" something more, even I "Lose" something as well.

I am enjoying my singlehood now, do what I like & have more free time then before. I even give a try on things I had never done at all or should I say only do it for a few times only.

Eg Attending classical music concert, walking/jogging in a week, can watch movie or going out alone at times, visiting the temple more often, reading self improvement books, listening bossa nova sonngs, planning to become a volunteer, join photography courses, trying to love arts, either train to sing in a good voice or strumming a guitar......

That's what I can remember for now haha... Love is not everything, it only contains a part. Every small little part combines & then become oneself. Though there are times which I do still miss, hate, or hv numb feelings towards him, all memories can only be buried in the heart.

Anyway, there's no point raking up the past again, let the wind blows away. Woo.... =p

Most importantly is blessed my family with good health & spend more quality time with them. Without them, I will not be here today.

I Am Sorry

I dislike people who push/knock into me or even step on my shoes without apologising. I felt it's very rude!

I don't know this kind of people is act blur & don't know that they had push/knock/step without noticing it & walk away just like that. Even if they did that on purpose (Eg I am blocking their way or something), they can still apologise.

For those who apologise even if its intentionally bcuz of sum reasons, I am defintely glad to accept it.

This is a basic courtesy everyone of us know or learn it. Can't stand this kind of people doing their ways. If you are the one being push/knock/step, will you like it? Obviously, the answer is "No" lor. Pighead & Blockhead!!! =x

While I was on my way to Commonwealth "Sheng Siong", someone step onto my shoe. I was quite pissed off & didn't hear any apologising sound also. I quickly turn around & see who's the person. To my amazement, I saw a little girl (7-8 yrs old) She acts as if nothing happen & just walk off like that.

I can see she's following her mum or something in a distance. I mumbled to myself " Whoa... Step on to my shoe, also dun knw hw to apologise, so rude"

The little girl heard it & u-turn to my direction, get near to me n say "I have say sorry already" in a gentle & innocence tone. I was a bit stunned & said "Ok". I don't know what she said is it true or maybe I never heard the apologising in the 1st place. When she walked away, I start to feel guilty sigh... =(

When I aboard the bus, there was some limited place in it. I was standing & one of the uncle is standing too. He knew that the space was quite small & he can still lean against the pole which my hands were holding on it.

I give him a stare & he just look at my stare only & do nothing about his leaning position. I make a "Che" sound also, there's no reaction. I was like "Whoa Lau... Dun knw hw to automatic one meh" Anyway I didn't state this out. The uncle really stupid. Damn it!!!

In a day, I had get angry & guilty on the same things. One is intetnionally (Stupid Uncle) & other one unintentionally (Little Girl)
