Quick Updates

It's been 20 days that I didn't update my blog. Where have I gone?

No worries, I am still kicking alive & enjoying myself lately haha... Just that not enough time & just plain lazy, to update all the details in a day happenings.

"Facebook" should be the best place where I can post my short shoutout & you will know what happened =)

My shoulder is giving me the ache/pain again... =( I can't differentiate much between the pain or ache symptoms , it's somehow the same & I feel very very umcomfotable. It occurs especially when I didn't stretch myself when I am in the same position for a long time.

I mean sitting in front of a computer either at work or at home. You know its like if you are not thristy, then u will not grab water & drink. It's the same meaning for this.

This is bad & I should walk away from the desk after 20 mins of fixed position. Stretch out a bit, it should help. Other then this, eyes must rest also. I am already a 4eyed monster liao haha... Exercise is important as well. Jog walk, jog walk... =p

Serene & I attended our 1st "Singapore Symphony Orchestra" concert in Esplanade (18th Apr) This ticket cost $10 & the duration was 1 1/2 hour. I am defintely not a fan of this, but I am welcoming & experiencing something new & different which brings out new sparks in my life hehe... The atmosphere was a relaxing but odd one as well, as I don't really understand the music they are playing. But I still try to gave my fullest attention & appreciate the music being played =)

The instruments are those violin, viola, cello, double bass (Strings Section), piccolo, oboe, english horn, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, contrabassoon, flute (Woodwind Section), trumpet, french horn, trombone, tuba (Brass Section), timpani, marimba, glockenspiel, celesta, xylophone, tubular bells, cymbals, snare drum, bass drum, gongs, triangle, tambourine, castanets (Percussion Section)

Watched a lot of movies "Alice In Wonderland", "Clash Of The Titans", "Date Night", "Ice-Kachang Puppy Love", "Monga", "The Bouncy Hunter". The 4th & 5th one, I watch alone leh =x I dun mind watching alone, it has its good at times hehe...

Meet up with Grace & Meileng on a Sat (24th Apr) But Meileng & I met up 1st, as we went to the F1 pit & watch those drifting cars. It's not free, but bcuz Meileng has 2 tickets to 2 days entrance (Sat & Sun) so she asked whether I 1 2 tag along, as her bf is not free on Sat haha... Can say I earned it =p

After this, meet up with Grace at "Millenia Walk" & have our simple lunch at TCC. I felt this time round, we girls can communicate much much more & even joke with each other haha... Next is to meet up with thier boyfriends & hubby.

Went to Toa Payoh hawker centre & eat western food, then to Sin Ming Ave for prawning. It's a tiring day as I reach home around 1am+

There's nothing much to mentioned about my work, still the same here & there.

From now on, I will love myself more & take care of my health. I love God, my family, my friends & those who love me hehe...

What Do Your Sunglasses Say About You

The information are extracted from this website "http://www.shoppinglifestyle.com.sg/" Enjoy =)

A pair of stylish sunglasses is up there with your handbag and shoes, as an essential accessory that's not only super chic, but also statement-making. Find out what your favorite sunnies reveal about you.

Oversized

They're all the rage, thanks to Hollywood "It" girls such as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton who have been seen sporting larger-than-life sunnies. These super-size specs are chic, glamorous and sexy -- the must-have accessory for the bold fashionista.

How to wear them: Oversized shades are flattering for most women and make a large face appear more petite. For a vintage-inspired look, opt for light-colored frames such as white or peach.

Aviators

They've evolved to become a unisex style, but aviator shades were traditionally worn by air force pilots -- think Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Even now, these masculine shades still evoke power and confidence.

How to wear them: Try graduated shades (like Victoria Beckam) for a modern touch. If you have a narrow forehead and a strong jawline, "aviator styles with a straight top are a good choice to add width to your forehead and soften the lines of your cheeks and chin," says Kendall Farr, author of The Pocket Stylist.

Classic

Sunglasses with a black or tortoise-shell frame and ovalish or rectangular rims are understated and timeless, and portray effortless elegance.

How to wear them: For a polished look, choose dark lenses to go with these classic frames. Play up your face shape with the right frame: "Round faces look best with straight, squared-off frames," advises Andy Paige, author of Style On A Shoestring. If you have a heart-shaped face, look for frames that are wider at the bottom. Frames with a straight top and a curved bottom (as sported by Zoe Saldana) flatters diamond-shaped faces.

Small and round

Small, circular frames are reminiscent of the sixties era (a la John Lennon) and thus often associated with creativity and being artsy. Stars including Lady Gaga and Mary-Kate Olsen have been spotted with these boho-chic shades.

How to wear them: Very round glasses are not for everyone. "Square faces with a sharp jaw and angular lines are softened by round lenses," explains Andy Paige, author of Style On A Shoestring, and therefore look best in them.

Wraparounds

Wraparound shades (as seen on Sarah Jessica Parker) give a sporty edge and say you're an active, adventurous person. They're a functional, relaxed choice for women on-the-go.

How to wear them: If you're an outdoorsy person, do invest in good sun-protective lenses.

Which one is more suitable or you prefer the most?

A Cool Saturday (Part 2)

It's free seating which you are allowed to choose any seats of your own. I choose "ROW 5" as I also don't wish to sit too near to the stage. This view should be just nice haha... Most of the people are either couples, 2 friends & big group of students (6-8).

I felt I am the only 1 who is alone, so paisay. Then I realise there's 1 Cascuscian guy who is sitting on the 2nd or 3rd row. I had been noticing him, while waiting outside for this event to start. At 1st, I thought he has a girlfriend or something. If I know he don't have, I would have sit beside him liao, at least got partner ma lol... =p

There were 4 ladies & 2 man acting. At 1st, it was the singing part mixed with a variety of songs. Canto, Chinese, English, Dance, Ballad, Hokkien... All the audiences are laughing at this part, as they are making funny expression on theit faces.

After the songs ended, it was the performance show, varying from different stories. The actors/actresses are changing roles all the time. I mean this Lady A can act as a daughter & then suddenly become a mother. The thing is in 1 story, not different stories. I also don't know why haha...

There's some parts which are quite touching, when they act on losing their loved ones. My eyes were a bit wet. The actresses really cried, I saw their tears rolling down from their eyes. This is called 'Professionalism' Thumbs Up!

The show finish around 9.45pm & there's a small slideshow introducing who are the actors/actresses. Everyone gives a big round of applause. *Clap Clap Clap* This claps last for 2 to 3 mins leh. This shows that this performance is a successful one & everyone like it! So do me of cuz =)

"Thanks For Being Part Of My Memories. 1 2 3..."

A Cool Saturday (Part 1)

Yawn... Supposed to exercise in the morning, but it's raining heavily. This gives me a good excuse & laze on bed for a longer time hehe... =p

During noon, meet up with my insurance advisor at Coffeebean (HV) There's the latest updates on my investment plans & it was a positive one. This is a long term investment, so not advisable to take it out now & see how it goes for the upcoming years.

I also upgraded my rider in "PRULIFE " since there's a 20% discount for the 1st year. Needless to say, the payout is 2.5 times more than my old one IF I passed away, then can take out lar. Choi!!!

Reached City Hall around 6pm +. I am alone, nobody is with me =( My main destination was the 'Esplanade' as I am going to watch a performance art show. This is my 1st time watching 'Arts'. This ticket cost $28 (Top Up $2 more, can watch 3 weekend movies liao) but I felt it's ok to part with this amount, to experience something new. Who knows, I might meet some new friends there.

It's known as "Home Boxes" presented by 'Paper Monkey Theatre' This is the narration*of the story : -

Boxes, a medium we use to pack our things & stack them away... with it our memories & unsettled feelings. Putting it all aside, we move on - out of sight, out of mind. Then one day, we chance upon the boxes. The memories & emotions that were carefully tucked away surfaces uncontrollably. Carefully but with hesitance, we go through the cherished items kept within.

This performance features puppetry, song, movement, drama & culinary as one complete experience while we take on a jounrey about the fragility of relationships with loved ones & feeling for these stories that is close to heart.

April Fool

It's the 1st April. 4 months of the year has passed just like that. Did anyone make fun of you or you make fun of others instead haha... How I wish 'April Fool' day is also a holiday (WLL - Wait Long Long) =x

Lately didn't update my blog, can say lazy lor hehe... Now will do a brief recap of what I had done or feel during the few days =)

21st Mar -

Had my body massage at 'Amore'. If compared facial to body massage, I prefer the former more. Needless to say, the lady persuade me to take up either the 2K or 3K package. I explain it's quite expensive & she introduce me a 1K package instead haha... Then I requested for a more cheaper rate, around $300-$400.

There is somesort this rate package - $600. It but it's only for 5 times & additional eye treatment free which she proposed. Overrall, I still find it quite expensive & rejected it.. The lady must be cursing me at the back, ask so much & yet still don't want to sign up =p

25th Mar -

Refer to my 25th March post.

27th Mar -

This is the 2nd time I went out with Louis girl-friends (Btw Louis & I are not together anymore) at 313 Somerset. I remember during the 1st time, I am the one who initiate the girls date as I wanted to know more about Louis life as one of the girl is Louis best friend wife.

Anyway, that's the past already. Now our 2nd meet up, is each of us has mentioned about this girls outing & so we meet up for the day.

It was pretty enjoyable chatting with them (Without the Guys). I never know I can get along with them quite well, talk as much as we like, no secrets & gossip here & there haha... =p

Don't know why that time when I am still with Louis, didn't really interact with them well. Maybe bccuz couples concentrate on couples lor. Though Louis & I are no longer couples (We are still friends), but I still gain two new girlfriends =)

At night, then went to Dynasty sing K. The guys were here as well. This is the 1st time I went out with this group without Louis. Felt odd since there are 2 couples & 1 me.

Well it's ok, I don't mind. Since they need to fetch me back to HV, we went to Swensen & eat ice-cream lor. This outing will be carried on for another time for sure. Thanks Girls!

1st Apr -

After work, met up with Carinn at West Coast area to have our dinner (Hawker Centre) It's been a long long time we didn't catch up & somemore tomorrow is a holiday, so can make use of this chance to meet up hehe...

After the dinner, we went to Starbuck & have our coffee drink. Was lying on the sofa comfortably & surfing the internet using Wi-Fi. Reach home about 12am lor.
